Homeopathy is an effective system of medicine using safe, natural remedies derived from plants, animals and minerals. It is non-toxic, non-addictive; it does not cause side effects and is not tested on animals. It can be used alongside conventional medicine and is suitable for all ages including babies, children, pregnant women and the elderly. Homeopathy treats the root cause of illness, the goal being to restore you to full health.

Homeopathy treats the whole person and not just the condition. Homeopaths are frequently consulted by people suffering from the symptoms of:

Homeopathy is safe to use in Pregnancy and Childbirth as it's made from purely 'natural' sources. I hold one to one sessions with parents-to be to explain the use of the homeopathic ‘birthing kit’ which contains remedies specifically designed for pregnancy and childbirth. The aim is to have the birthing partner feeling confident using the kit during the birth .I also offer talks and training about homeopathy and the use of the homeopathic birthing kit to healthcare professionals and local groups/organisations.

In my child-friendly practice, I really enjoy working with babies and children. In my experience, children respond exceptionally well to homeopathy and it can make a profound and lasting difference to a child’s emotional and physical health. I have treated babies and children with complaints including Autism, post vaccination health problems, behavioural difficulties, birth trauma, to name but a few.

Mums, Dads and carers are welcome at the consultation because they play a vital role in helping me learn how your child is affected by their symptoms. Homeopathy can raise a child’s immunity to help prevent illness and give support through difficult periods in a child’s life.

The initial consultation lasts up to 2 hours with follow up appointments lasting up to 1 hour approximately every 4 weeks to review your progress. Your homeopathic remedy will be posted to you after the consultation. The aim is to restore your health so eventually you will need infrequent treatment. Once you feel you are at your optimum health level, you may choose to return every few months to help maintain your level of health. For those with mobility problems, I may be able to arrange a home visit (mileage additional).

If you are a member of a private health plan such as Westfield, Forester or HSA you can claim back all or part of your fees.  The consultation fee includes the cost of your homeopathic medicine. Payment is due at the time of consultation and appointments missed or cancelled within 24 hours are chargeable.  Please contact me for full details.
